Meet Our Coaches

BioTRUST is proud to staff a team of expert health and fitness coaches dedicated to helping you achieve your goals. Our coaches boast a wide range of elite health and fitness credentials – such as Master's degrees in Public Health and Sports Nutrition, RD, CSCS, CISSN, and more – and together, they accumulated dozens of years of industry and in-the-trenches experience helping people from all walks of life optimize the way they look, feel, perform, and live through their multi-disciplinary approaches. But more important than where they've been is where they are, and that's here for you. Meet them below.

Tim Skwiat, VICE PRESIDENT OF RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

One of BioTRUST’s original employees, Tim has been a member of the team since the company's launch in 2012, and he has 20+ years of health and wellness experience. During his time with BioTRUST, Tim has occupied various roles, including Director of Nutrition and Exercise, Director of Scientific Affairs, Director of Community and Coaching, and currently, Vice President of Research & Development. The hub of the wheel for Tim has always been product development and education, and he has had the honor of being mentored by some of the most renowned experts in the field, including Brett Hall and Shawn Wells. In addition to being heavily involved in product ideation, development and substantiation, Tim is BioTRUST's lead Nutrition and Exercise Coach, where his passion for nutrition and fitness comes alive in his written and video product and wellness education content.

Tim lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife Amie and their three children, daughter Parker and twin sons Reed and Brody. Tim is a Precision Nutrition Level 2 Certified Nutrition Coach and a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He completed his undergraduate degree in Movement & Sports Science at Purdue University, and he earned his Master’s degree in Sports Science & Nutrition from the University of Texas at Austin, where he also worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach under the tutelage of world-renowned basketball strength coach Todd Wright for 10 years. Tim is a published author of over a dozen evidence-based eBooks delving into the nitty gritty of nutrition for overall health, body composition, cognitive function, joint health, hormonal health, sexual performance, healthy aging, and more.

Cristina Powell

Cristina is a Metabolic Effect L3 Nutrition Consultant and a Precision Nutrition L1 Nutrition Coach. Cristina's passion is to help others discover how great their bodies are meant to feel through healthy eating and an active lifestyle. In her free time, Cristina enjoys drinking the CrossFit kool-aid, soaking up the sun on the coast of the Carolinas, and raising her two amazing daughters, who are active in soccer, tee-ball, basketball, and CrossFit Kids. She enjoys creating great-tasting recipes and helping others adopt a healthy lifestyle.

Dr. Matthew Roberson, M.D.

Dr. Matthew Roberson attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio where he completed his residency in Family Medicine. He is a board-certified (American Board of Family Medicine) family physician, and he has been in private practice for 20 years, with a strong focus on patient-centered care and preventive medicine. Dr. Roberson is a member of the Texas Academy of Family Practice and was voted in D magazine as one of “Dallas’s Best Doctors.”

Dr. Jaime Hope, M.D.

Dr. Jaime Hope is a doctor, wellness expert, teacher, speaker and author. As an Attending Physician specializing in Emergency Medicine at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, which is one of the busiest emergency departments in the country, Dr. Hope is no stranger to helping her patients through the most stressful, painful and challenging times of their lives with compassion and competency.

Not only is Dr. Hope a celebrated medical doctor, who graduated from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine (class of 2005), she is also a wife, mom, health advocate and author of the book Habit That! – a #1 Amazon Bestseller. She is an Assistant Professor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and an engaging and enthusiastic professional speaker.

A former “junk-food junkie” turned healthy, balanced person (not overzealous health nut), Dr. Hope comes from a place of gratitude, passion and enthusiasm. She is dedicated to helping her followers through science-based remedies that really work, saving hard-working folks, just like you, serious time and money along the way.
