How many times have you wanted a few bites of cake, but the thought of baking a whole cake for just one slice seems like a daunting task? Or when it’s the weekend and you are craving something sweet, but you know you may not exercise the best portion control if you have a dozen of your favorite freshly baked muffins displayed on your kitchen counter? This is when it’s good to have these healthy single-serving protein mug cakes on hand. You can make any one in under 5 minutes and crush those cravings without derailing your diet. Plus, they all pack a solid serving of protein.

1. Peanut Butter Cup Protein Mug Cake

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine egg and almond milk until egg is well beaten.
  2. Add protein powder, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
  3. After spraying a mug with cooking spray, pour the batter into the mug.
  4. Microwave for approximately 1 minute and 30 seconds.
  5. Enjoy this protein cake right out of the mug, or turn out onto a plate!

Ingredients:

Vanilla Protein Icing:

Directions:
