The #1 Reason People FAIL to Lose Weight

Let me ask you this: If every day you stepped on the scale and saw a lower number, and every week you looked in the mirror to see visually noticeable results, would you continue doing what you are doing?

Let me answer that for you. YES, you would.

It doesn’t matter how “hard” what you’re doing is, you’d still continue to do it.

In fact, you’d probably work out even more and tighten up your diet even more as a result of the RESULTS you’re experiencing.

Results are motivating. If fact, there’s absolutely nothing more motivating.

Nothing.

And here’s another reality: If you’re NOT experiencing results, you will never continue to put in the hard work and effort necessary to change your body.

Unfortunately, hard work and effort don’t necessarily equate to results. In fact, there are a ton of people out there working hard, and getting nowhere.

Why? Because there’s a ton of information out there that simply does NOT work for fat loss, while still requiring a ton of hard work and sacrifice.

For example, you could “diet” and choose the wrong foods and watch your weight stand at a standstill.

You could perform hours of slow-go cardio every week only to watch the scale read the same number week after week.

You could starve yourself, royally screw your metabolism, and even GAIN weight over time as a result.

And then what happens? You quit, that’s what.

And I don’t BLAME you. Why would you ever continue to sacrifice without being rewarded?

I wouldn’t, and you shouldn’t.

So take a good hard look at what you’re doing and think about this: What’s fueling your workouts? What’s fueling your desire to eat healthy and consume fewer calories?

If results aren’t your fuel, you’re going to give up and quit…sooner rather than later. Proof? Let your car run out of fuel and see what happens.

That’s right, it doesn’t go.

The one solitary thing that fuels your desire to “stay on the wagon” is results. And that’s what this blog post is here for: to give you strategies and information that actually work, so you can continue moving forward toward your goals, without wasting your time.

Now, one of the most important things you can do to ensure your “diet” isn’t wasting your time is to learn exactly how to control your body’s fat-burning hormones with food. Fortunately, I show you exactly how to do this in 3 easy steps right here:

  1. Howdy,

It is probably me, but I have reduce my total caloric intake, uped my walking to 3 to 4 miles daily and started taking LeptiBurn a month ago. While I see some minor weight loss of 3 lbs, I am disappointed in not seeing the dramatic results I was expecting. Perhaps, I am taking the wrong product.

    • Hi Ernie,

Thanks so much for reaching out to us and for offering us the opportunity to help you in your weight loss efforts. Congratulations on your weight loss so far! I know it may not seem like much, but you are definitely on the right track.

Several LeptiBurn users have reported more dramatic weight loss beginning in the second and third months. Keep up the great work and keep supplementing as directed. If you are interested in adding another supplement to your arsenal, you may consider looking into IC-5, which will accelerate your fat loss via a different angle than LeptiBurn.

Great job on getting started with your exercise program! I would encourage you to add some resistance training to your current program. Specifically, I would recommend that you read the following article:

      http://www.biotrustboard.com/showthread.php?39-Critical-Elements-of-Fat-Loss-Training-%28Article%29

Without knowing any details about your diet, I would suggest that you make sure that you’re consuming an adequate amount of protein. Specifically, this study shows that the minimum amount of protein needed to preserve calorie-burning muscle mass and your metabolic rate while dieting is 1.2 grams per kilogram of bodyweight per day:

BioTrust Low Carb is a great-tasting, convenient way to boost your protein intake, which increases your metabolism and satiety.

I hope this helps, Ernie. Keep up the great work!

  2. Hi,

I am happy that i got to know your products.
I just started LeptiBurn 3 days ago and i will do my best on this diet plan.
I’ve had some special issue over a year.

A year ago, I tried HCG diet and lost 13 lbs, maintained within 5 lbs. for a few months and i regained more than 20 lbs over 8 months.
(before HCG I was 113 lbs/after HCG-100 lbs/now- 123 lbs and still keep gaining.- so frustrated)

I think maybe… i set up my body as “starvation mode” to maintain the body weight during & after HCG? I understand my body need time to adjust since i started eating properly to break the starvation mode but i dont understand why i am still gaining weight over 8~9 months?

Trust me, I ALWAYS eat healthy (like low carb day as you suggest for leptiburn diet plan) and hit the gym 5 times for a week.

Even under this situation, LeptiBurn diet works out to me, you think?

    Please advice me.
Adding IC-5 will be more efficient?
I try to be positive and do my best.
This is only Hope to me now.

    Thank you.

    • Hi JY,

Thank you so much for sharing some of your story with us and for allowing us to accompany you on your body transformation journey. It is truly our privilege to be your resource for honest nutrition and health information.

Coach Josh has previously written about the dangers of the HCG Diet here:

The HCG Diet… 3 Reasons Why You Should NOT Try It (No Matter What)

In our opinion, this is neither a healthy nor long-term approach to weight loss, weight maintenance, or optimal vitality. As you’ve suggested, it’s highly viable for your body’s hormones to shift into what’s colloquially termed “starvation mode.”

The hormone leptin is the metabolic master switch behind this physiological adaptation. You have certainly made a wise decision in investing in LeptiBurn to help you once again regulate your metabolism, your fat-burning capabilities, and your appetite.

Knowing that you’ve followed such a low-calorie diet for such a long time and have exercised on a regular basis, my suggestion is going to be to gradually increase your caloric intake while simultaneously attempting to increase the intensity of your exercise sessions. At this point, it will be difficult to increase the amount of time and/or days you’re exercising, but you can certainly increase the volume of your sessions by trying to do more in the same amount of time. Metabolic resistance training is a great way to do this.

As I mentioned, systematically increasing your caloric intake will help to reset your metabolism. I understand this can be scary, as one would naturally fear gaining weight. However, if you increase your energy intake via whole, minimally processed foods, like lean proteins, veggies, fruits, beans, legumes, nuts, seeds, and whole grains, you’ll be just fine. Primarily, I would encourage you to increase your protein intake. Protein has a very high thermic effect, which means that your body has to burn a significant amount of energy just to process. This results in an increased metabolism. Increasing your veggie intake can result in a similar metabolic boost.

BioTrust Low Carb, BioTrust Protein Cookies, and BioTrust Organic Protein Bars are all incredibly delicious and convenient ways to ramp up your protein intake.

I hope this helps, JY. Keep up the great work!

      • Thank you so much for the advice, Tim.

I have been on the 3rd week of Lepti-burn diet plan(still low carb diet) and I haven’t seen any results yet so I just purchased IC-5 to add on. (Maybe my body needs more time. I will continue this plan for 2 more months.)

By the way, the instructions on the IC-5 bottle say,
“Take 2 capsules prior to any carb containing meal. If on a low-carb diet, take 2 capsules twice daily prior to meals.”
So I should 2 caps twice on the Low Carb days/ Low GI,GL days/ Higher GI GL days AND CHEAT days- like consistently everyday until my Lepti-Burn diet plan ends?
        please advice me again.

        Thank you.
        JY

          Hi JY,

It’s great to hear from you! I appreciate your patience with the process, as you know your body as well as anyone. :) Hang in there, be consistent, and keep up the great work!

On your Low Carb days, you’re going to take two IC-5 capsules twice daily. You can take one dose in the morning and one dose in the evening (15 minutes before eating).

On your Low GI/GL, High GI/GL, and Cheat Days, take two IC-5 capsules 15 minutes before all carbohydrate-containing meals (up to three doses per day). On these days, you may be consuming carbs at every meal. I would take IC-5 before your highest carb-containing meals.

Also, JY, I encourage you to check out our new BioTrust Community Forums. It’s a great place to get free coaching help and the support of your peers:

  3. I just wanted to say…THANK YOU for developing the product Lepti-Burn. I have been trying to loose weight for the past 5 years since having 2 babies. Let me tell you my life of “CLICHE”. I have tried EVERYTHING I could get my hands on. Trainers, saunas at the gym with advice from trainers, nutrisystem, Atkins, Hydroxycut, pills, this, that. Only to get stomped further back from loosing even a single pound. That’s right. 1 SINGLE pound…for 5 years!! I eat organic, I eat veggies and good meats, I don’t eat bread and the like, I don’t drink anything but water and almond milk. I still did NOT loose weight. Then I found Bio-Trust. I ordered a bottle of Lepti-Burn. I was SOOOO skeptical because of my past. I thought this was just going to go down in my list of failures. I took it for two weeks without weighing myself. When I get on the scale and I very nearly had heart failure from shock. I had lost 7.5 pounds. I thought, well maybe it’s just the scale, another week goes by and I weigh again. I almost cry because I had lost another 4 pounds. Now, it’s been two months and I have lost a total of 20 pounds. THANK YOU!!! I now have hope that I will loose the weight I need to. It’s not just me. My husband is noticing, my family is noticing. MY PANTS ARE FALLING OFF MY HIPS!!! I am soo happy that I found BioTrust and I am recommending you to EVERYONE who needs help with weight loss and nutrition. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!

    • hi ive just started leptiburn to.do you have to diet and exercise on them asswell?i do play rugby on the weekend but do i need to do more than that thanks

      • Hello Lance,

Thank you for starting our fat burning hormone support supplement, LeptiBurn.

To get long-lasting, true results, nutrition is going to be the most important aspect in your health journey. I know it is a cliche but it is true, “You are what you eat.” Exercise is going to be a component that is going to help reinforce those results.

Think of it like this: A one-ingredient, clean, and minimally-processed diet is going to make your body even more sensitive to the effects of LeptiBurn and overall fat burning. Then, exercise will improve your body’s performance for Rugby and also aid in your body’s fat burning venture. LeptiBurn will optimize your body’s metabolic master switch, leptin, which will increase your metabolism and fat-burning capabilities. This all equates to accelerated fat loss and avoiding frustrating plateaus.

Two other factors that will help and need to be incorporated for long lasting results are going to be recovery, or rest, and support from your family and community.

I want to send one of our diet reports, “The 7 Day Rapid Fat Loss Diet.” Please expect this in your email. It will be a great guideline program to aid in your diet with the LeptiBurn.

Let us know if we can help in any other way.

        Team BioTrust
